Roger and Sue Bisaillon have been producing art since 1982 at their Blue Moon Clay Carvers studio in the foothills of Maine. With clay carving their specialty, each artwork is a one of a kind creation. Upholding a tradition of excellence in specialty clay, Blue Moon has customers world wide. They exhibit at juried fine arts shows as well as galleries.Each piece created goes through multiple processes. Depending on the piece, they use the wheel, slab roller and custom molds. Sometimes the clay can go through four firings until satisfaction is achieved in the final product. They have spent twenty years practicing with color along with meticulous hand carving. They are constantly coming up with new designs and their work changes from year to year.
